How are add-ons billed?
Add-on resources are one of only two things Build bills for, alongside compute. Enterprise plans include monthly credits to use on any add-on, credits start from $600 on Core to $12,000 on Premier. The pricing page has the full breakdown.
Which Heroku add-ons have Build equivalents?
Connecting your Heroku account imports your add-on configuration and maps it to Build's managed equivalents, so nothing is reprovisioned by hand. Where no equivalent exists, the service can usually run as a partner add-on.
Can I request an add-on that is not listed?
Yes, Build's add-on marketplace is actively expanding. If you need a service that is not listed, contact the team with what you run today and they will work to provide an equivalent.
