Every feature included.
Every bill predictable.

Our pricing doesn't punish success or slow you down. Skip the hyperscaler markup and feature paywalls. You only pay for compute and add-on resources.

Talk to sales

Why we price this way.

Build's founders spent years running and scaling production workloads on major cloud platforms, frustrated by confusing pricing that punished growth. Our pricing is designed to support teams as they scale, not take advantage of their success.

Same team, same start, different path
The feature you need shouldn't force an upgrade

Many platforms lock important features behind higher tiers, leaving you paying for more than you need. With Build, every platform feature is included. You only pay for the compute you need.

Forecasting shouldn't require an analyst

Instead of costs spread across services, usage meters and additional charges, Build keeps pricing simple: your dyno hours, plus the add-ons you choose.

Normal usage shouldn't lead to a surprise bill

Traffic varies. A launch, a campaign, a busy Tuesday. Our plans absorb normal variation to keep your bill consistent. Enterprise plans also include a soft cap, so you're not punished for unexpected growth.

Teams that left the runaround behind.

Real teams running production on Build, in their own words.

Build provides peace of mind through reliable, scalable infrastructure. Their support network is straightforward and responsive—we’ve eliminated the runaround and communication gaps we dealt with in the past. Build feels like a true partner and gives us a level of confidence we’ve never had before.

Frequently asked questions

What's included in the flat monthly price?

Each Build plan maps to a monthly pool of compute hours and add-on credits. Every platform feature is included on every plan, so the price covers capacity rather than access to features.

What's the difference between Developer and Enterprise plans?

Developer and Enterprise plans differ in the amount of compute and add-on credits, not platform features. Developer plans are smaller and more suitable to personal projects or businesses just getting started. Enterprise plans carry much larger pools and have access to engineer-led migration support.

What's a dyno, container, or instance?

A dyno is a single isolated container running part of your app: a web server, a background worker or a scheduled job. Heroku calls them dynos, AWS and Render call them instances. You are billed per dyno-hour.

Why is compute sold in monthly buckets instead of metered?

Build sells compute and add-on resources in monthly buckets for predictability. Metered billing tells you what you owe after the month ends; a bucket means you know before it starts, and the invoice stays identical every month.

What happens when you outgrow your pool?

Enterprise plans use a soft cap, so nothing breaks and no app is throttled when you pass your pool. Developer plans bill additional usage to the payment method on the account. Additional compute is sold in blocks of 5,000 hours for $150 each.

What do bundled add-on credits cover?

Add-on credits cover add-ons running on Build's own infrastructure, such as managed PostgreSQL, Redis and search, from $600 a month on Core to $12,000 on Premier. Partner add-ons are billed separately by the partner.

Can I change plans mid-cycle?

You can change Build plans mid-cycle. Upgrades take effect immediately and downgrades apply from your next billing cycle. If your usage pattern changes, Build will help you right-size rather than leave you overpaying.

Will you beat my current cloud bill?

Build offers a bill-beat guarantee: send a recent, comparable invoice from any other platform and Build returns a guaranteed monthly price below what you pay today, locked for 12 months. Terms apply.

Do I pay extra for SOC 2, SSO, or audit logs?

SOC 2 certification, SSO via Google Workspace, audit logging, RBAC and private networking are included on every Build plan, including the $9 Hobby plan. Compliance capability is not gated behind an enterprise tier, so it is ready to go the moment you need it.
